Video 1:
(Off camera) What language do you speak?
(O.C.) Look at his face.
(O.C.) There is 300 people coming in, at least coming in....
(O.C.) Muffled voices
(O.C.) He almost threw the chair through the window ... look at him.
(O.C.) He is on the other side.
(O.C.) Look at his face.
Heavy breathing by Robert Dziekanski.
(O.C.) I can't believe he's sticking his tongue out.
(O.C.) There is nobody here.
(O.C.) Five minutes before Cathay comes down with 300 people on it and....
(Dziekanski holds a small wooden table and waves it.) (in Polish): F---! I will not let you accuse [charge] me of anything.
(O.C.) There is something wrong with him.
(O.C.) I think he speaks Russian, Russian.
(O.C.) Is that what he is speaking?
(O.C.) He doesn't even speak English.
(O.C.) What language do you speak?.
(O.C.) Russian, Russian.
(O.C.) Yugoslavian.
(O.C.) I think he speaks Russian, Russian.
(O.C.) There is nothing wrong, there is nothing wrong.
(O.C.) Russian Russian.
(O.C.) We need a Russian interpreter.
(Woman O.C.) Calm down.
She approaches and holds out her hand to try to communicate.
Video 2:
A woman approaches and tries to speak with him
(The woman) Excuse me. . . . I'm just going to talk with you. ... Easy, easy, I know, I know, . . . easy, easy.
(O.C.) I'd be afraid.
(O.C.) I told him that.
(O.C.) He is freaking out.
Dziekanski, agitated, picks up a computer.
(O.C.) Look at that, he's got a computer.
(O.C.) Oh!
(O.C.) Right in front of the cops too.
(O.C.) Breaking computers.
Dziekanski throws a chair through the glass.
(O.C.) There goes the glass.
(O.C.) Jesus Christ.
(O.C.) Sir, sir
(O.C.) No, no, no, no.
(O.C.) Oh my God, no.
(Crowd member calls to woman who has approached Dziekanski, trying to get her to come back from a window near him.) Ma'am!
(O.C.) He speaks Russian and nobody can help him, we need a Russian interpreter here to calm him down.
(O.C.) There is 300 people coming in.
(Woman O.C.) He is so scared, why do they just leave him?
(Man O.C.) Why are the police not here?
(O.C.) Did you call security? . . . did you call the police?
(O.C.) Yes, I am at the airport.
(O.C.) The keyboard he is holding in security.
RCMP arrive in the international arrivals area of Vancouver International Airport.
(O.C.) What are you doing? What are you doing?
(Crowd members call to police) He is right inside here on the other side of the door.
(O.C.) Dziekanski screams in Polish: Police, police.
(O.C., from crowd) He speaks Russian.
(O.C.) He is freaking out.
(O.C.) Sir, he speaks Russian, that's it, no English.
Police approach Dziekanski. Dziekanski starts backing away, raising his arms briefly. A few moments later he starts screaming. He holds his arm, moaning in pain. He falls to the ground. He screams repeatedly.
(Crowd member O.C.) Jesus Christ.
Dziekanski is pinned on the ground by four RCMP officers. He struggles, kicking his feet.
(O.C.) It's sad.
(O.C.) How is he still fighting them off?
(O.C.) He is still freaking out.
(O.C.) Nobody knows why.
(O.C.) He speaks Russian.
(O.C.) No rhyme or reason.
(O.C.) Prime footage for my home videos.
(O.C.) I'm at an airport, man.
Video 3:
(O.C.) I came in here . . . .
(O.C.) Is he unconscious?
(O.C.) Is he dead?
(O.C.) I heard them say 'code red?'
(O.C.) Well, yeah.
(Camera operator) I have three minutes of footage left. ... I have three minutes of memory left, I have three minutes of memory left.
